For Lovers of Film

Capture your wedding in the timeless format of Film. Our film coverage options can be added to any of our intimate wedding packages or full day packages where 2x photographers have been booked.

We shoot both 35mm and Jon specialises in Medium Format film. We love crafting imagery that just can’t be replicated with digital cameras, giving you real, authentic and artistic photographs from your day that have the timeless aesthetic of analogue film. We love our shots to be filled with all of the soul and grit of old school film. We think there’s a lot to be cherished in the imperfections and surprises that you find when shooting film and since our digital coverage is more refined, having film photography at your wedding as an extra gives you a chance to have something a little fun & different and gives us the opportunity to get arty and have a play.

Opting for Analogue

Jon is our resident Analogue film photographer. When he was 13 or 14, his family handed him a Pentax ME 35mm camera and he’s been shooting film ever since. He still has that very same camera and has since collected a few more such as the Hasselblad (perfect for those handsome medium format mantlepiece shots) and a few different Polaroid cameras which are always fun to whip out at weddings.

We gave a lot of consideration as to the best way for our clients to have analogue at their weddings and settled on a simple solution of a focused analogue upgrade to their digital coverage. That means, that as well has having Sarah capturing the day on digital, Jon will work along side her capturing the reportage moments of 35mm, those handsome portrait moments on medium format and some fun bits on Polaroid. We print all of our film pictures on beautiful quality paper at a specialised photo lab and carefully present these in a handsome wooden box for the true tactile and analogue experience. Photos weren’t made to live on the computer after-all. This option starts at £1350 but price is dependent on the depth of coverage required and amount of film needed.

That’s ok, we can shoot a few of rolls of medium format for you (usually the couple photos & bridal party photos) or three rolls of 35mm (reportage moments) depending on which you prefer. Due to the rocketing costs of analogue film, prices are dependent on the cost of film at the time of the wedding but currently around £300 for this option.
