For Lovers of Film

We shoot both 35mm and Medium Format film and Jon handles the Super 8. We love crafting imagery that just can’t be replicated with digital cameras, giving you real, authentic and artistic photographs from your day that have the timeless aesthetic of analogue film. We love our shots to be filled with all of the soul and grit of old school film. We think there’s a lot to be cherished in the imperfections and surprises that you find when shooting film and since our digital coverage is more refined, having film photography at your wedding as an extra gives you a chance to have something a little fun & different and gives us the opportunity to get arty and have a play.

Opting for Analogue

We’ve got a few different ways to incorporate film photography into our couples wedding days. All of our full day packages come with a couple of rolls of 35mm as standard because we love the vibe. For the ride-or-die film lovers, we can discuss shooting your whole wedding on film or if the risks of vintage equipment don’t appeal to you, you can look at our hybrid approach which mixes a blend of film and digital.

We’ve both been shooting film since our college days and although we’re not developing in dark rooms anymore, we get all of our film professionally developed and scanned in London and shoot across a mix of 35mm, Polaroid and medium format. Our dream wedding albums are the kind that looks like your Nan’s in the sixties and seventies, we fully embrace the vintage look and love it when our couples are fully on board for a gallery that’s eclectic, fun and full of nostalgia.
