When a venue curveball came their way just months before the wedding date, Ella & Theo had to rapidly find a plan B for their originally winter wedding and pivot to a mid August celebration at the family home. Fate clearly had better plans for them as the sun shone beautifully and Ella’s creativity came together to create a unique day with so many sentimental touches.
DetailsNestled deep on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, their family farm housed a festival tipi in a golden late summer meadow. With divine catering by one of our favourites, Beautiful and the Feast and a beautiful pop up boat bar by Little Boat Bars and themed cocktails chosen by the couple, the canvas was set for the perfect meadow garden party vibe with some real Hollywood touches, a nod to the couples acting roots and love of vintage things. Ella’s shell corseted dress was just sublime but all stationary, florals, table decor and even her shoes were custom made by the bride herself.
The BriefElla & Theo’s wedding was captured back in 2023 and fully digital. Their focus was on family, particularly their nieces and nephews and all the antics and shenanigans that unfolded with some European wedding traditions making an appearance, such as the bride being ‘kidnapped’ by the best men and ransomed mid speeches. It was a day filled with so much laughter and authenticity.
