FOLLOWED BY A RECEPTION AT HELFORD WEDDING FIELD
Lucy & Ben’s wedding took place in October. They got ready at the Iconic school house down in Durgan. Lucy had a absolutely divine handmade dress by Ailsa Munro who makes gowns reminiscent of period dramas for literary brides. It was one of my windier weddings I’ve captured but we enjoyed dry weather all throughout the day until dinner when a storm rolled in and everyone got to watch the rain come down from the cosy interiors of the marquee overlooking the Helford River. Helford wedding field is probably my favourite marquee spot - the view of the aquamarine river and its proximity to Grebe beach, Cornwall’s most beautiful river beach makes it such a perfect spot for an outdoor wedding. In the summer months, it even has a wildflower field. I had so much fun with Ben & Lucy.
